Definitions

  • "Website" refers to MyService.

  • "Freelancer" refers to a User who offers services on the Website.
  • "Client" refers to a User who purchases services on the Website.

  • Eligibility

    You must be at least 18 years old to use this Website. By using this Website, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into this agreement and to abide by all of the terms and conditions of this agreement.

    Account Registration

    To access certain features of the Website, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

    User Responsibilities

  • Users are responsible for their own actions on the Website.
  • Users must not use the Website for any unlawful purpose.
  • Users must not post any content that is offensive, harmful, or violates any third-party rights.
  • Service must be delivered by the freelancer within the period agreed upon by the freelancer and the client. In the event that a service is not delivered within the specified period, a refund of the payment may be initiated to the client. Additionally, a penalty of 20% shall be charged from the freelancer's wallet as compensation for the delay.

  • Payment Terms

  • Clients are required to pay for services in accordance with the terms agreed upon with the Freelancer.
  • For Clients, the Website will charge a service fee for transactions made through the platform. An amount of N500 will be charged for transactions less than N10,000; while Ten percent (10%) of the amount to be paid will be charged for transactions from N10,000 upwards.

  • Dispute Resolution

    In the event of a dispute between a Client and a Freelancer, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute amicably. If the dispute cannot be resolved, the Website will provide mediation services.

    Wallet Withdrawal

    Freelancers have the option to withdraw funds from their wallet. However, a 5% charge will be applied to such withdrawals made. The charges are applicable to all payments stored in the wallet.

    Termination

    The Website reserves the right to terminate or suspend a User's account at any time for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms and Conditions.

    Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Website shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the Website; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.

    Governing Law

    These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

    Changes to Terms and Conditions

    The Website reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on the Website. You are advised to review these Terms and Conditions periodically for any changes.
